Thee Holistic Maven Brings a Blend of Witchy Wellness & Mindful Treasures to the South Coast.

It is tucked away like a well-kept secret inside the charming Ropewalk Building in the heart of Mattapoisett, MA.

Thee Holistic Maven is a sanctuary for the senses, intertwining witchyness with holistic wellness. It is a small but inviting, soul-centered shop. The space blends the mystical with the practical, offering a unique blend of witchy wonders, natural products, books and holistic healing services that help to quiet the mind, nourish the body and awaken the soul.

It is known as a modern apothecary and spiritual sanctuary. Here for the crystal lovers, the curious souls, the Fantasy Book readers, the wellness warriors, the self-care enthusiasts, the metaphysical seekers and everyone in between that loves their wellness with a side of witchyness.

Thee Holistic Maven is woman owned and curated by me--Diana Joseph. Who is also a seasoned practitioner with over 15 years of experience traveling to psychic fairs, pop-up events, and metaphysical markets. My shop reflects my deeply eclectic and personal blend of Spirituality, Self-care and Love of books. 

I carry a variety of my own handcrafted products, as well as trusted items from other small businesses that I've extensively researched and reviewed myself. My shop is a place to build a connection with my community, to help others feel supported, seen, and understood. A safe space to learn, grow and collaborate.

From the moment you walk in, the shop wraps you in warmth. You’re greeted with the rich scent of soaps, herbs, incense, natural fragrances, coffee and more. Everything in this space is chosen with intention. The shelves are filled with holistic and metaphysical treasures: hand-selected tarot and oracle decks, divination tools, polished crystals, spellbinding candles, handcrafted jewelry, bags, incense, sage, thoughtfully curated books (both new and used), ethically-sourced and all natural home, bath and body products, bags of organic coffee, local honey, herbs, spices and tea waiting to greet you like an old friend.

But the true magic of Thee Holistic Maven lies in my healing services. Visitors can book soul-nourishing experiences such as tarot, oracle or tea leaf card readings, palmistry, reiki energy healing, self-discovery meditations, sound healing, crystal healing, astrology readings, holistic consultations, intuitive development, workshops, classes, certification courses & more. Whether you're seeking clarity, comfort, guidance or have a spark of curiosity, there's always something mystical happening within.

With its warm, cozy aesthetic, hanging tapestries, dreamcatchers and positive energy, the shop feels like a magical spellbook brought to life. This is a space to slow down, rediscover what lights you up, and remember that self-care isn’t selfish—it’s sacred.

Hey I'm Diana, Thee Holistic Maven

Ever since I was a little girl I've dreamt about opening my own shop. A judgement free zone where people could come together, feel comfortable and stay connected. And now I've done just that! I've created an inviting space for like-minded people to come and shop, talk, vent, learn, grow, collaborate, find inspiration, guidance, clarity and to discover the mystical side of life. My shop is more than just another store--It is an experience. A cozy nook with familiar faces that remember your name. A place to go when you need some good energy and positive vibes.

I also collaborate with other small businesses in my community. Most often with my best friend Sherri of Moonlight Soul Tuning. Together we offer workshops, intensive classes, certification courses, Home Parties, Tarot Reading Events & More as Moonlight Mavens! 

I've faced many challenges throughout my life especially my immune compromising health issues and extensive list of allergies, as well as my oldest child's celiac diagnosis. These things pushed me to rethink my lifestyle when I was just a young mom of three wanting the best for my family. I jumped down the rabbit hole of holistic wellness, label reading, research, self-practice, certification courses and then started creating my own all natural products. My passion turned into purpose. Before my shop I was a modern-day Gypsy. For 15 years I did pop up shops and farmers markets with my handcrafted products, offered my holistic & metaphysical services at different vendor events, psychic fairs, other local shops, and more. Then in November 2024 I came across the perfect little space in the ropewalk and found a home for all the things. My shop is a blend of my eclectic style. A blend of witchy vibes and holistic wellness. It smells amazing and feels like home. I pour my heart, energy and mind into every detail from sourcing all natural products and ingredients, choosing a variety of books to sell, brainstorming my workshops, writing my certification courses, and preparing my services to act as self-discovery tools to help you find guidance, clarity, confidence, and a sense of overall wellness. I am here to help you reconnect with yourself, tap into your inner power, trust your intuition, learn how to live authentically and embrace the magic within. If you are seeking a deeper connection or if you've been curious about holistic and metaphysical practices you are in the right place. My approach is deeply rooted in mind, body and soul self-care. In setting boundaries, saying no to what no longer serves you, pouring into your own cup first, tuning out the expectations that others may have for you and embracing what you are passionate about. I believe that every woman has the power to create a healthy and happy life for themself. In a world that is constantly pulling you in all directions remember it is ok to do nothing and take care of YOU first!

I have a Gypsy Soul, an intuitive nature, an eclectic belief system and I am drawn to all the magickal and mystical things in life. I'm a Holistic & Metaphysical Practitioner, Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, Crystal Healer, Tarot & Oracle Card Reader, Aromatherapist, Herbalist, Astrologist, Spiritual Coach, Course Creator, Writer and Entrepreneur of a variety of things. I am passionate about intertwining witchy vibes with holistic wellness and in helping others learn how to support themselves as a whole: mind, body and soul. I strive to support others in cultivating their authenticity, in sharing how to find balance within the chaos of their day-to-day life, and in collaborating with other like-minded entrepreneurs along the way!

My intention is to guide, inspire and empower those who are ready to think outside the box. To share how to ebb & flow with the energy around you, synchronize with nature, learn the language of the universe, discover your cosmic connections, tap into your innate magick, connect with your inner witch, tune into your intuition and help you to release autopilot to manifest the life you want to live!

I have been studying a variety of holistic wellness and metaphysical practices for over 20 years. My knowledge of all the things comes from books, extensive research, practice, self-study, experience, workshops and a variety of certification courses. I have always had a strong connection with my intuition, with the energy around me and I have always been drawn to the mystical side of life.

I'm super passionate about sharing my knowledge with those who want to create a healthier & more balanced lifestyle. I enjoy helping others work toward developing a vibrantly fierce mind, body & soul through practices that are centered around their personal abilities, beliefs and interests! I believe that we all have the key to a healthy and happy life within ourselves! Seize the moment, follow your intuition, get in touch with your witchy side and create your own path, one that leads to all the things you dream about, make goals, and take leaps towards them. Live the life you wish to live, after all, life is an adventure, and it will become what you make of it!
